What types of apartments are there?The UNIaparts has 4 different apartment types. More detailed information can be found here.

How are the apartments equipped?Here you will find a list of the basic equipment of the apartments at UNIaparts.

Do all apartments have their own bathroom?Yes, everyone has their own bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower.

How many people live in the apartment/house?An apartment is only occupied by the person (or two people) who booked it. There is a total of 18 apartments throughout the house.

Are the apartments furnished?Each apartment is equipped with a bed, at least one table and a wardrobe. Bed linen is also available.

How big is the bed?Most apartments have a 90x200 cm bed, some have a 140x200 cm bed. There are two apartments with twinbeds, that can be used as two separate beds or as one big bed (180x200 cm). Please tell us before your arrival which setting you prefer.

What electrical devices are available?The rooms have desk and bedside lamps, a kettle, a microwave and a refrigerator. The kitchens are equipped with two hotplates and an oven. More information here:

Are there pots, cutlery, dishes?The apartments have a basic set of cutlery (knives, forks, spoons, etc.) and tableware (plates, cups, glasses, bowls, etc.), and the kitchens also have cookware such as pots, pans and serving spoons.< /p> To open the cupboards, please press the inside corner of the cupboard-doors.

Will the apartment be cleaned during my stay?No, residents are responsible for cleaning the apartments during their stay. Cleaning supplies, vacuum cleaners, brooms, etc. are provided (room 0.8 on the groundfloor)

Can I smoke in my apartment?No, there is an ashtray outside the front door. The whole house is non-smoking.

Is there a TV in the room?Our target group are international guests who do not need German television. Therefore, there is no TV in the flats.

How does check-in work at UNIaparts?Check-in takes place from 4 pm via a key safe. The code will be communicated after payment of the first invoice. All the apartments are located in the first to third floor of the house. Please use the stairway to get to your apartment.

Where is the key safe?The key safe is located in the entrance area of the flat block. Go through the green entrance door - as shown in pictures 1 and 2. There are four key boxes available. Please check your e-mails for the key box number and the code. When you have entered the code correctly, turn the handle and open the box. Inside there is the key to your booked flat.

How do I get the code for the key safe?The code for the key safe will be provided to you in the first invoice.

Is there a reception?No, there is no reception at UNIaparts. Communication takes place via email, telephone or WhatsApp. Check-in and check-out work well without reception thanks to the key safe. Will I get a rental contract?No, a rental contract will not be drawn up. This is a normal accommodation contract. An invoice and payment are sufficient.

How does check-out work?Please return your key to the black mailbox in the entrance area by 11 a.m. on the check-out date.

Do I have to clean my room upon check-out?No, you do not have to clean the room. Please make sure to take all your valuables and travel items with you. Our cleaning staff will take care of everything else.

How much do the apartments cost per month?The apartments cost between €620 and €820 per month. €70 cleaning costs are added to every booking. All prices include VAT.

How does the payment work?As soon as the apartment is to be booked, we will send an invoice with a payment link for the first month including cleaning fee. This invoice is payable immediately to secure the reservation. For all subsequent months, payment is due by the 15th of the previous month. The following ways of payment are accepted: credit card, paypal, SEPA transfer

Why do I have to pay a cleaning fee of €70?After your stay, the apartment will be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for the next guest. Depending on the length of your stay, this cleaning fee can have a significant impact on the total price.

How are the rental costs divided?The price consists of the net price and 7% sales tax.

Do I have to pay a deposit for my apartment?No, there is no deposit.

Where can I cook?Apartments of type A and B have their own kitchen. Type C and D apartments do not have their own kitchen. There are common kitchens on every floor for all residents of UNIaparts.

How are the private kitchens of apartments type A and B set up?Each apartment is equipped with the following items: The apartments type A and B have their own kitchen, which in addition to the basic equipment has a sink and 2 hotplates.

Are food items such as oil, vinegar or tea bags provided?No, for hygiene reasons we cannot store food in the apartments.

Is there a washing machine?There is a washing machine and tumble dryer behind the drying room 0.6. Use and payment is made via the provider WeWash, accessible via internet or app. Detergent is provided by us. Payment by cash is not possible. If necessary, there are "Waschsalons" in town, e. g. in Landshuter Straße 20, 93053 Regensburg (busstop "Stobäusplatz")

Where can I find cleaning supplies to keep my room clean?The cleaning room with cleaning utensils is on the ground floor (E 0.8). There is also a vacuum cleaner on the 3rd floor. Please put everything back in its place afterwards!

Where can I find fresh bed linen and towels?There are two cupboards with bed linen and towels in drying room 0.6. Please put your dirty laundry in the basket next to the tumble dryer - we will wash it for you.

I'm locked out - how do I get back into my apartment?We can open the apartment with the master key. However, depending on the time of day and the effort involved, a payment of €20 to €50 is due. We ask that you call +49 1621896760

Is there WiFi at UNIaparts?Yes, we have a connection capacity of 250 MBit. The WLAN is called UNIaparts and is freely available in all flats without a password.

Can I officially register with UNIaparts?On request, we can issue you with a landlord's confirmation of residence free of charge. Please send us a copy of your passport or ID card via email or Whatsapp. After arrival, you will receive the signed confirmation from us by email or Whatsapp as a pdf file. You can present this to the Residents' Registration Office (Bürgerbüro) of the City of Regensburg.

How do I open and close the skylights correctly?Please note that the skylight window must always be completely closed when it rains and when you leave the apartment - including the horizontal bar, otherwise rainwater can get in. Please follow these instructions: There is a horizontal bar at the upper edge of the window frame. 2. This bar must be pressed towards the window glass. 3. Then pull the top edge of the window down on the bar.

How can I change the batteries in the fire alarm?If the fire alarm beeps regularly, the battery is slowly running down. To change the battery, carry out the following steps: Turn the fire alarm to remove it from the ceiling. Remove the old battery. Insert the new battery. Place the fire alarm back on the base on the ceiling and screw it back in.

Do you issue a landlord's confirmation of residence ("Wohnungsgeberbestätigung") for the registration ("Anmeldung")?Yes, we will be happy to provide you with a confirmation of residence ("Wohnungsgeberbestätigung") for registration ("Anmeldung") free of charge. To do this, please send a photo of your passport or identity card by email to regensburg@amann-verwaltung.de. We willl send the signed pdf-document back via whatsapp or email and you can show this at the "Bürgerbüro" registration office. We are also happy to issue the landlord's confirmation of residence BEFORE you arrive at UniAparts. The landlord's confirmation of residence will then be placed in the post box in the stairwell on the ground floor of UniAparts.

What do I do if I have locked myself out?Locked out? If you have locked yourself out of your UniAparts flat or house or have forgotten or lost your key, please contact us via WhatsApp on +49 162 1896760.

Where do I throw my rubbish away? How do I sort my rubbish?Waste sorting is very important at UniAparts. On each floor you will find large rubbish bins with stickers and an explanation of which rubbish belongs in which bin. We differentiate between residual waste (fabric scraps, extinguished cigarette butts, etc.), paper (paper, cardboard, newspaper, cardboard), packaging (PET bottles, plastic packaging, cans, milk and juice packaging in tetra packs). There is also organic waste (food waste) in the kitchens, as well as glass and textiles. At the bus stop outside UniAparts you will find containers for brown, green and white glass, as well as a container for the clothes collection centre, where you can drop off used clothes and shoes for people in need.

Can I receive mail?We distribute incoming mail by room number to the post boxes on the ground floor of the stairwell. We place parcels and large letters next to them.

Where may I leave my bike?There is a bike rack just past the annex for the entrance if you walk up the driveway about 15 meters.

Where is the nearest supermarket?In the Oberisling district there is a butcher's shop www.preuschl.de that also offers dry goods and baked goods. The nearest supermarket is an ALDI around 2 km away (with a direct bus connection via line 3). They have everything for everyday life from food to toilet paper.

How do I get to UNIaparts?From the north of the city, bus line 3 (direction "Grass") takes you via the city center and the main train station directly to the “Oberisling” stop, from where it is just a few steps to UNIAparts. Alternatively, you can take bus number 6 to the university hospital (direction "Uniklinikum"). After around 20 minutes on foot (1.3 km) across fields you reach Weingartenstrasse. How frequent are the buses?Bus route 3 runs every 20 minutes Monday to Saturday, and every hour in the evenings and Sundays. Bus number 6 runs every 10 minutes Monday to Friday and every 20 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays.
